When it became known that Brock Lesnar’s contract with WWE had expired, discussions immediately turned to a possible return to the UFC, where a big fight with Jon Jones would await UFC President Dana White, expressed interest in setting it up, and Jones was quick to tweet trashy comments to get him started on his own.
That conversation quickly died down, however, and now White has told TMZ he doesn’t think Lesnar will ever return to MMA:
“Sure I’d love to hear how he’s doing, how his family is doing and stuff like that, but I think that will be the magnitude of a conversation with him. The guy has had a long murderous career. He’s actually came in and became a UFC heavyweight champion and the guy made a lot of money I just can’t see him coming back here at his age “
The UFC speech is something Lesnar has used as leverage in contract negotiations in the past, but he’s old enough now that the threat of his leaving to go through a camp, then a fight, isn’t just don’t have the same punch made a few years ago
