Issa Rae made his debut as a host on Saturday Night Live and reflected on his success over the past four years Upon entering, the Insecure and The Photograph star said it was an honor to walk and perform on the same stage as comedy legends who came before her, including Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Of course, this start came with nerves

“I’m afraid to throw up, but I have to keep it up because I’m the first black person to greet you SNL,” the actress joked before telling members of the audience the opposite. “I’m not, but you believed it for a second”
