NRL 2020 as it happened: Sharks score late triple treat to snatch win against Broncos

The Sharks have stormed home to score three tries in the final 10 minutes and snatch a 36-26 win.

Braden Hamlin-Uele has just scored Cronulla’s third try in the last eight minutes to snatch victory for the Sharks.

Brisbane have forgotten how to win games of football and Cronulla are now making a habit of it.

Wade Graham and Siosifa Talakai put the rising star away down the left wing and he used a banana kick to bend the ball back inside to Connor Tracey.

Wade Graham winning the ball back from a short drop-out has turned into four points for Sione Katoa.

Superb hands from Shaun Johnson and Will Kennedy put the winger away. He now has 12 tries this season – more than any player in the NRL.

Cronulla opted for a short drop-out after Tom Dearden forced a repeat set and a big effort from Wade Graham forced Dearden into an error.

Thomas Dearden has been outstanding for the Broncos and he’s forced a repeat set with 10 to play.

But the Sharks rookie has suffered what appears to be a serious knee injury on debut.

The star centre is surely destined for NSW Origin honours if he keeps playing like this.

Staggs has a double and the Broncos now have a 26-18 lead with 23 minutes to play.
