Male pilot trapped after helicopter crashes into powerlines in NSW Riverina

Emergency crews have responded to reports of a helicopter colliding with powerlines in the NSW Riverina.

NSW Police said just after 11:00am, emergency services were called to a property on Carrathool Road, Conargo after reports of a helicopter crash.

NSW Ambulance said the aircraft had fallen into power lines and that the male pilot is believed to be trapped inside the helicopter.

The condition of the pilot is unknown and more emergency services were on their way to the scene.
