There are long delays at the Dartford Crossing this afternoon (May 19). A broken down vehicle has closed two lanes on the M25 towards the crossing. Traffic is queueing from Junction 1A (for the A206 Dartford) to junction 1 (for the A1306 Lakeside). Congestion is back to junction 3 for the M20 Swanley Interchange. According to Inrix, the left hand tunnel is closed and traffic is being diverted via the East Tunnel (the taller tunnel). Traffic was held briefly around 1pm to cone off the tunnel.
