Both teams are coming off narrow losses last week and are desperate to get on a roll as they sit outside of the eight just over the half way mark of the season.

Dragons coach Paul McGregor has been forced to make changes to his winning spine combination after rookie halfback Adam Clune was concussed last week. Ben Hunt moves back into the halves to cover the loss of Clune with Cameron McInnes shifting back to hooker.

Tariq Sims also returns for the Dragons after a suspension forcing a reshuffle of the forward pack.

Meanwhile, South Sydney’s pack receive a welcomed boost with not only the return of Mitchell, but also Liam Knight who has overcome an achilles injury.
