Alexander Zverev sent the Spanish teenager Carlos Alcaraz in straight sentences on Saturday to secure his place in the final of the ATP tournament in Vienna.

The number 4 in the world ended the Austrian adventure of Alcaraz with 6 : 3, 6: 3 before the second semi-final between Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe.

The 18-year-old Alcaraz stole the show this week on his way to a very first ATP 500 semi-final.

He had in last set tie-break in the quarter-finals on Friday and defeated Matteo Berrettini 6: 1, 6: 7 (2/7), 7: 6 (7/5).

But against a dominant Zverev, who secured victory with an ace after an hour and eight minutes, he could no longer cope.
