Grambling head coach Broderick Fobbs and his team want to spoil the return home from Florida A&M on Saturday.

Florida A&M has a winning streak of four games since 38:17 loss to South Florida on September 18 and will try to continue on Saturday when they return home.
The Rattlers have won two close games in the past two weeks to keep the streak alive. That included a 35-31 win against Southwestern Athletic Conference East Division defending champion, Alabama A&M, on October 16. The other came against Mississippi Valley State, a 31-28 win for the Rattlers.
“Our boys understand the physical and menthol preparation it takes. This was our longest bus trip. Nine hours by bus and one hour to the stadium. In an environment that has nothing to do with Bragg Memorial Stadium, ”said Rattlers head coach Willie SIMmons via WTXL’s Dominic Tibbetts. “So that we finish is something we are very proud of. And that we are working with our conditioning as we did in August, we want to be the last team at the end. We want to be physically and mentally tougher than any other team. And I think we showed that. ”
Grambling, who also defeated Alabama A&M earlier this season, had a bye week of September after beating Texas Southern on October 16, after a 34:20 win, and they’re coming fresh into the game on Saturday.
“Just so many bumps and bruises from training camp during the seven weeks, we didn’t have a week off,” said Tigers head coach Broderick Fobbs, according to the Monroe News star’s Ethan Sands. “And then you couple that with the fact that you played last spring. 2021 was a lot of football for us. ”
Tigers quarterback Noah Bodden has 476 yards of passing, four touchdowns and four interceptions this season. Bodden has been the center of the Tigers in each of the last three games.
Greg White leads the Tigers with 270 yards and a touchdown. Kobe Ross has 178 yards and a touchdown.
Darque Brutton leads the Tigers with 195 yards and C.J. Russell has 159 yards and a touchdown. Elijah Walker has 143 yards and two touchdowns.
Florida A&M quarterback Rasean McKay leads a powerful offensive attack with 1,266 yards, 10 touchdowns and a 57.4% completion rate. He’s taken nine sacks but thrown only three interceptions this season.
Xavier Smith was one of several go-to receivers for McKay with 292 yards and a touchdown on 33 catches. Jah’Marae Sheread leads the Rattlers at touchdown receptions by five and has 285 yards with 32 catches.
Rattlers running back to Bishop Bonnett averaging 7.2 yards per carry while doing much of the rushing load Shoulders. He has a team-high 642 yards and touchdowns at 89 carries.
Terrell Jennings is also a threat. He has 332 yards and three touchdowns at 66 tries.
