While the gusts will not exceed 65 km / h at first, near Les Pieux and Saint-Germain-des-Vaux in the afternoon of Friday, their speeds will panic in the evening.

The north of Cotentin should be particularly affected by strong gusts. Peaks at 70 km / h are expected Friday evening near Granville. Then, at night, 85 km / h in Saint-Germain-des-Vaux, 80 km / h towards Les Pieux and 75 km / h in the port city.

On Saturday morning, the wind could blow up to 105 km / h in Saint-Germain des Vaux, but also 95 km / h in Cherbourg, and 90 in Montebourg, Granville and Les Pieux. Eole will not calm down in the afternoon, with a peak of 100 km / h at Saint-Germain-des-Vaux, 90 km / h towards Cherbourg, Montfarville or even Les Pieux. Same sound of bells in the evening, with in particular 100 km / h expected in Saint-Germain-des-Vaux and 90 in Cherbourg.

According to the Météo Basse-Normandie Facebook page, the wind could even exceed 120 km / h in some places on the Cotentin coast during the day on Saturday!
