A strong air mass conflict is at the origin of a stormy degradation which occurs during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The first storms break out over Loire-Atlantique and Morbihan. They then go up to the north of the region. In the middle and end of the night, the entire eastern half of the region is affected by bad weather which weakens in the morning of Wednesday.

These storms can be strong, even violent, over a large eastern half of Brittany. We expect intense electrical activity and very sustained precipitation. These stormy precipitations are likely over a short time to generate accumulations of 15 to 30 mm or even 30 to 40 mm, locally. Hail and strong gusts are also possible.
