Six candidates are vying to win the by-legislative election in the sixth district of Pas-de-Calais. This Sunday takes place the first round. Polling stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This Sunday, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., the first round of the by-legislative election takes place in the sixth district of Pas-de-Calais.

As a reminder, the sixth district of Pas-de-Calais brings together the cantons of Boulogne-sur-Mer-Nord-Est, Boulogne-sur-Mer-Nord-Ouest, Calais-Nord-Ouest, Marquise and Guînes and , since 2010, the cantons of Ardres, Desvres, Heuchin, Lumbres and Fauquembergues. That is 89,100 inhabitants.

Brigitte Bourguignon wants to keep her deputy seat for the last year. The Minister for Autonomy has chosen as deputy Christophe Leclercq, surveyor and president of an association invested in helping disabled children.

Regional councilor since 2015, Marie-Christine Bourgeois is the candidate of the Rassemblement National (RN). His deputy is the Guinean Cédric Fasquelle. She was present in the second round in 2017.

Bastien Marguerite-Garin (PS)

Deputy mayor of Boulogne-sur-Mer, Bastien Marguerite is the socialist candidate, who is running in this 6th district of Pas-de-Calais. Her deputy is Valérie Cormont (MRC), from Audresselles.

Faustine Maliar and Jean-Luc Marcotte (LR)

Collaborator of the mayor of Calais and president of agglomeration Natacha Bouchart, regional councilor, Faustine Maliar was invested by Les Républicains. His deputy is Jean-Luc Marcotte, municipal councilor of Desvres.

Jérôme Jossien (Génération.s) and Patricia Duvieuxbourg (PCF)

Elected in opposition to Pernes en Artois, Jérôme Jossien is an SNCF agent. Her deputy is Patricia Duvieuxbourg, originally from Fiennes and member of the Communist Party.

Laure Bourel (Workers’ Struggle)

Laure Bourel teaches French and history-geography in a vocational school in the Lille metropolis and her deputy Jean-Paul Wallard is an electromechanic in a factory in Pas-de-Calais.
