Nov. 30 (UPI) – The Washington Football team kept the Seattle Seahawks from only 10 first downs and used their running game to gain more than 23 minutes of ball possession time to secure a 17-15 NFL win -Week to win 12th finals.
Washington defeated Seattle 152-34 in a narrow win on Monday at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. Washington’s defense also held a late Seahawks rally and made a potentially game-defining two-point conversion in the final seconds.

November 30 (UPI) – The Washington Football Team held the Seattle Seahawks from only 10 first downs and used their running game to gain more than 23 minutes of ball possession time to score a 17-15 – Win NFL week 12th final.

Washington defeated Seattle by 152 to 34 points in a narrow win on Monday at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. Washington’s defense also held a Seahawks late rally and denied a potentially game-defining two-point conversion in the last few seconds.

“Going into bye week with four straight losses and coming back and winning three straight feels great,” Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke told reporters. “The confidence there is great and it really starts with these guys up front, the offensive.

” They don’t get a lot of credit. Not only have they played the ball phenomenally for the past three weeks, they’ve also protected me. ”

The win extended Washington’s winning streak to three games in a row. The Seahawks have lost three games in a row.

Washington running back Antonio Gibson got 36 touches for a total of 146 yards of scrimmage. Heinicke completed 27 of 35 passes for 223 yards, a score and an interception.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 20 of 31 passes for 247 yards and two scores. Washington held Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf on just one catch.

“I just think this trip, this season, was a challenge, it was tough, but at the same time there is more football left,” said Wilson.

“I know for myself personally, I’ll give it my all what I have, as I always do, every day every game, until the end, until the last game of the game, just like tonight, just because I don’t know any other way. “Washington called 3-0 lead when kicker Joey Slye scored a 23-yard field goal with 2:59 minutes to go in the first quarter. The Seahawks responded with a 75-yard drive with six games.

Wilson threw a 6-yard touchdown throw against Gerald Everett at the end of the quarter to end that possession, giving the Seahawks a 7-3 advantage.

The Seahawks held the advantage until running back Alex Collins fumbled before 3:52 halftime. Washington won the fumble back, scoring 56 seconds before halftime. Heinicke threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to J.D.’s running back. McKissic for this score.

McKissic ran for a 10-yard touchdown on Washington’s first drive of the second half. That result and a successful two-point conversion gave Washington a 17-9 lead.

The Seahawks were eight points behind for most of the second half. They finally closed the void when Wilson threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Freddie Swain 15 seconds from time.

Wilson again targeted Swain for a two-point conversion attempt on the next snap, but his Pass was intercepted by Washington cornerback Kendall Fuller.

The Seahawks appeared to make up for an onside kick on the next play, but the result was canceled on a penalty, resulting in a re-kick. Washington recovered from trying to secure victory.

“I’m very proud of these guys because we are so resilient, how hard it was and just did the things they had to do to keep us one To give a chance to win, “Washington coach Ron Rivera told reporters.

The Seahawks (3-8) meet the San Francisco 49ers (6-5) at 4:25 pm. EST Sunday at Lumen Field in Seattle. Washington (5-6) fights the Las Vegas Raiders (6-5) at 4:05 p.m. EST Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, New York.
