The President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, is visiting Lyon this Sunday September 26 and Monday September 27. He will have dinner at the Rhône prefecture at 8 p.m. alongside some 300 guests. Among the guests, many elected officials, mainly from the Lyon area.
The great chefs’ dinner will aim to promote the excellence of Lyon’s gastronomy. The head table is intended to be multi-skilled.

The next day, Monday, September 27, the Head of State will go to Sirha, an international catering, hotel and food trade fair, at 10:30 am. This is the first time since 1987 that a President of the Republic has gone there. The latest is Jacques Chirac.

Finally, Emmanuel Macron’s visit will end in the afternoon. At 2:45 p.m. he will go to the future WHO Academy, in the Gerland district of Lyon.

Several restrictions are in place around the Rhône Prefecture. Traffic will be prohibited for cars, two-wheelers, bicycles and pedestrians.

Parking is prohibited on a large perimeter, from Sunday September 26, 2021 at 6:00 a.m. until Monday September 27 at 11:00 a.m.
Traffic is prohibited from Sunday September 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. to Monday September 27 at 11:00 a.m.

Vehicle circulation will be prohibited:
• rue Servient between avenue Maréchal de Saxe and quai Victor Augagneur
• rue Pravaz; • rue Pierre Corneille between cours Lafayette and rue de la Part-dieu
• rue Dunoir between rue Pierre Corneille and avenue Maréchal de Saxe
• cours de la Liberte between cours Lafayette and rue de la Part-dieu
• rue de Bonnel between quai Victor Augagneur and avenue Maréchal de Saxe
• rue Rabelais between avenue Maréchal de Saxe and quai Victor Augagneur
• Quai Victor Augagneur between Pont Lafayette and rue de la Part-dieu
• rue de Sevigne between rue de la Part-dieu and rue Servient
• rue Commandant Dubois between rue de la Part-dieu and rue Servient.

The parking of vehicles, including cycles and two-wheelers, will be prohibited:
• rue Pravaz on both sides; Lyon, September 23, 2021
• rue Servient on both sides, on the part between avenue Maréchal de Saxe and quai Victor Augagneur
• rue Pierre Corneille on both sides, on the part between rue de Bonnel and rue Servient

Some public transport lines will also be impacted:
• Sunday 26 and Monday 27 September: tramway T1 and line C9
• Monday September 27: line C1, C4 and C5
