Shops and restaurants at Melbourne’s largest mall, Chadstone, have been added to the Victoria’s list of exhibition venues.

A person infected with Covid-19 visited the mall on Wednesday, May 26, between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Anyone who was in Chadstone on Wednesday during this time needs urgent testing and isolation until they get a negative result.

The yokozuna restaurant on site has been classified as a Tier 1 exposure site. Anyone who had dinner there on Wednesday between 11.30 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. must be tested immediately and quarantined for 14 days.

Other new exposure locations added on Friday by the Victorian Department of Health include LaTrobe University Library on Tuesday, as well as locations in Braeside, Cragieburn, Epping, Fingal, Glen Iris, Mernda, Mickleham, South Yarra, St. Kilda and Thomastown .

The peninsula’s hot springs in Fingal were added to the Tier 1 exposure list on Friday, eight days after an infectious person visited the reception area on May 21 between 3:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

The hot springs closed their stores on Thursday, May 27th and posted a notice on their website and social media that customers are “urging business interruption from May 27th to June 4th at 10pm”.
