Virgin Media is promoting its sponsorship of ParalympicsGB with a social media campaign that encourages the public to show their support for the team.

Since fans cannot travel to Tokyo, fans will be shown as part of the Work – which includes a 20-second opening film – asked to upload videos of itself to Twitter using the hashtag #WeAreHere to create a “virtual Mexican wave.” The inter-agency campaign was sponsored by M&C Saatchi Sport and & Entertainment directed. It starts today (August 24th) shortly before the start of the Paralympic Games and is moderated by Paralympians and TV star Alex Brooker.
