The fire broke out around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7 in an apartment in an 11-story building at 16 Cheminement Auriacombe in the Reynerie district of Toulouse. The building was evacuated
The particularly violent fire quickly spread to three other apartments on the 4th and 5th floors of the building.
Thirty firefighters are hired to fight against the flames. With a large ladder, they managed to put out the blaze from outside in the first apartment. They are on the way to bringing the disaster under control in the other apartments.
A priori, none of the apartments were occupied in this partly abandoned building. To verify this, the firefighters launched reconnaissance on the floors. All residents of the building have been evacuated. There would be no injuries to be deplored.
