The Vendée firefighters were mobilized last night for a fire that broke out in Luçon, in the Bio Habitat factory which builds mobile homes.
A violent fire broke out last night in Luçon. It was 6:50 p.m. when numerous witnesses saw a huge cloud of smoke rising in the sky over Luzon.
The production site of Bio Habitat (IRM and O’Hara) which manufactures mobile homes was engulfed in flames.
Huge rescue resources from across the department were deployed by the Vendée fire brigade staff.
Indeed, 96 firefighters intervened, the fire also requiring the presence of 35 emergency vehicles.
Damage but only one person hospitalized: an 11-year-old child, inconvenienced by the smoke, was transported to the CHD of La Roche-sur-Yon.
