A heavy goods vehicle carrying cars lay down on the A81, near Vaiges, around 11 am on Monday morning. Traffic is only on the expressway.
Take care this Monday at noon if you are driving on the A 81: a heavy goods vehicle has landed in Vaiges, on the emergency lane and in the ditch, in the direction Rennes – Le Mans, shortly before 11 a.m. . The driver was not injured but was taken to Laval hospital for examinations.
The truck was carrying eight cars, five of which fell on the road as a result of the accident. The slow lane and the emergency lane are neutralized: traffic is only on the express lane, which has caused up to 10 kilometers of traffic jams. The operations to raise the whole could take several hours.
For lifting the truck and evacuating the various vehicles it was transporting, the device is quite heavy: traffic will be completely cut off in the area on the A81, after exit 2 Evron.
Vinci Autoroutes will wait until the peak in traffic has passed before operating this closure around 8 p.m. A detour will be set up from exit 2 Evron, via the D24, D357 and D4: the return to the A81 will be at Silllé-le-Guillaume.
