ACCIDENT A plane accident occurred on Monday not far from Lille according to firefighters

This Monday afternoon, a plane crash occurred near the airfield
from Lille Marcq-en-Barœul, to Bondues, we learned from the
North Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS).

According to firefighters, a tourist plane crashed in a pasture “in the immediate vicinity” of the airfield in the middle of the day at around 4 p.m. Also according to the emergency services, the small plane immediately caught fire following the impact with the ground. The two people on board died.

In mid-June, another passenger plane crashed shortly after taking off from the same aerodrome. The three people on board, aged 29 to 61, were killed.
