Around 7 a.m., a truck and coal train collided at the Turanville level crossing, south of Scone.
The ambulance service is on site and an ambulance is treating the driver, a man around 20, who has suspected head and pelvic injuries has.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has announced that they have landed at Scott Memorial Hospital and that the man is being treated for severe chest injuries and will be flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
