The national selections are back. After the Euro, France will need to forget about its elimination in the round of 16 this summer, and will have to focus on the qualifying matches for the World Cup.
Before the Final Four of the Nations League which will take place during the October break, France will play three qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
A list full of surprises presented by Didier Deschamps at a press conference this Thursday afternoon, with four new ones: Moussa Diaby, Theo Hernandez, Jordan Veretout and Aurélien Tchouameni.
Players rewarded for their last club performances. The big absence from the list, however, remains that of Olivier Giroud. Yet holder since his arrival in Milan, Karim Benzema and Anthony Martial were preferred to him for the tip of the attack.
