Cyprien took a decisive step this Saturday evening on the singing show The Voice 2021. The Reunion singer qualified for the final phase of the competition on Saturday 8 May. Confronted with seven other candidates, he was acclaimed with his interpretation of “Corps” by Yseult.
It is done ! Cyprien is in the final of the singing show The Voice 2021. After having interpreted “Corps” by Yseult, part of which in Creole, he was unanimous among the members of the jury and the public, this Saturday, May 8, live on Reunion antenna.
At the end of the bonus, viewers made their choice: Jim Bauer, from Marc Lavoine’s team, Mentissa (Vianney’s team), Marghe, from Florent Pagny, and, the Reunionese Cyprien, from Amel Bent’s team .
In the semi-final, Cyprien was competing against seven other candidates. The Dionysian won the favor of the public which allowed him to qualify for the last stage.
If Cyprien was able to climb this far in the competition, the latter could never have participated.
In an interview with LINFO.re, the Réunionese admits to having been twice affected by the coronavirus.
Indeed, during the preparation period, he told us that he had contracted Covid-19. So hard to train for the Battles. In videoconference, Amel Bent guided him through.
“I am called the survivor in the The Voice family because I had the Covid twice and there for the second time, I could not be there for the coaching session” he confided in interview.
