PINOLE, Calif. – The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office and the Pinole Police Department issued a lockdown on a residential neighborhood in Pinole on Monday.
At around 6 a.m., police said residents of Kildare Way between Marlesta Road and Kilkenney Way should stay inside for “law enforcement”.
A KTVU photographer said he learned that a possibly armed man was outside the house and that law enforcement was negotiating with him.
They told the people who live on Kildare Way between Marlesa Road and Tara Hills Drive and on Barkley Court to lock up at the closest security location.
They also told residents not to Make phone calls and don’t call 911 unless you need to report a life-threatening emergency.
