Head for the beginning of the 20th century for the saga of Matthew Vaughn, who looks back on the origins of the spy agency with “The King’s Man”. A prequel that Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson tell us about.
Before Kingsman, there was… The King’s Man. A prequel set just before and during the First World War, and which tells us about the birth of the famous spy agency of which Eggsy (Taron Egerton) became the flagship recruit during the 2010s.
Worn by Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes or even Harris Dickinson (as well as Rhys Ifans in dancing Rasputin), the feature film takes us back to the beginning of the 20th century. And Matthew Vaughn takes the opportunity to infuse a spirit of adventure and war films into espionage, which remains the heart of the story.
Postponed several times, The King’s Man is finally released in our theaters. The opportunity for Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson to discuss on our microphone both the style of the film and their respective characters. Starting with Polly, whom the English actress describes as a “Mary Poppins rock’n’roll”.
