The Golden State Warriors did not have All-Star Klay Thompson in each of the last two seasons due to injury.

Thompson was assigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors (their G-League daughter) and trained with the team on Sunday.

In the two seasons that Thompson was out, they did the in each of those seasons Missed playoffs.

Prior to the last two seasons, Thompson had played five straight All-Star games and the Warriors made the NBA finals five straight (during that time he won three NBA championships).

This season they set an 18-2 record in their first 20 games of the season.
