The France team will not see the Davis Cup quarter-finals. But despite this elimination, Sébastien Grosjean managed to draw grounds for satisfaction.
The France team will not see the Davis Cup quarter-finals. Beaten by Great Britain, Sébastien Grosjean’s men were eliminated after the victory of Jan-Lennard Struff, which put Germany among the best second. But despite this elimination, Sébastien Grosjean is proud of his players and in particular Arthur Rinderknech and Hugo Gaston, called up for the French team for the first time.
“Arthur and Hugo brought a lot of freshness to this French team. It really did good for the atmosphere, the staff. We really felt proud to be able to represent France in the Davis Cup. There was a good mix with the experience of players like Nico, Pierre-Hugues, Adrian and Richard. It was great at that level. We did not have the desired result but I think that this French team has a bright future ”confided the captain of the Blues, Sébastien Grosjean, at the microphone of the FFT.
