A taxi driver managed to drive himself to the hospital after being shot dead in brazen daylight in a house in northwest Sydney.
Police say the taxi driver had a 30-year-old husband Wednesday morning picked up from a house in Sydney’s west before taking him to a house at an address in Riverstone.
Both were shot in the car in front of the house, and the passenger – a member of a banned motorcycle gang – was hit several times.
The cab driver then drove to Hawkesbury Hospital, where both men were treated for gunshot wounds and are in serious condition.
“You shoot enough one person you want to kill and you hit someone innocent This is really unacceptable, “he said.
” The people of Sydney should be able to live their lives without being at risk from a stray bullet from a fool who shoots another fool. “
