Serie A: Inter return to Verona thanks to Joaquin Correa

Inter continues. After his large home victory in the opening of the championship against Genoa (4-0), the reigning champion won on the lawn of Hellas Verona (1-3, 2nd day). But the meeting was not a piece of cake for Simone Inzaghi’s men.

On a recovery error from Samir Handanovic, Hellas opened the scoring with Ivan Ilic (1-0, 15th). It was not until the second half to see Lautaro Martinez equalize (1-1, 47th). The rookie Joaquin Correa finally offered the three points to the Nerazzurri with a resounding double (83rd and 90th 4). A little earlier, Udinese had largely won against the promoted Venice (3-0).
