Three rockets were fired from Lebanon on Wednesday into northern Israel, prompting retaliatory Israeli shelling towards neighboring Lebanese territory, the army said. “Three rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory,” the army said in a statement without reporting any casualties. Two of the projectiles fell in Israel and Israeli forces “fired at Lebanese territory,” she added.

For its part, the Lebanese News Agency (Ani, official) reported that “the Israeli army shelled the plain of Marjeyoun with 155mm shells after rockets fell in Kiryat Chmona”.
