The Atlanta Hawks are expected to sign a five-year contract extension with the Star Point Guard that will pay them $ 170 million, sources said Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The extension, which only completed Tuesday could rise to a total of $ 201.5 million if Young meets the Supermax criteria.

Young led the Hawks last season with 25.3 points and 9.4 assists per game when the team defied expectations of reaching the final of the Eastern Conference.
