BHUBANESWAR: The state government has renamed the Forest and Environment Department to the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department.

This change was communicated by the General Administration Department and published in the Odisha Gazette. The State Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Naveen Patnaik, approved the department’s proposal on May 10th.
