At around 4:45 p.m., a car suddenly caught fire on Wednesday, September 22. The vehicle was parked in the car park of the Jules and La Grande Récré stores, located in the Gourvily area, in Quimper. Witnesses also mentioned the sound of an explosion. A little before 5 p.m., the police and six firefighters from Quimper were on site. For now, the origin of the fire is unknown, which caused thick black smoke in the Quimper sky visible for miles around.
