In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Dean Windass asked Dele Alli to get involved in Heung Min Son’s absence.

The South Korean had a thigh problem in the North London derby on Sunday, and Jose Mourinho confirmed that he will miss Spurs’ Europa League game against Dinamo Zagreb tonight.

Alli has only started in the Premier League once since the opening day but appears to have put his differences aside as Mourinho returned from one Tendon injury occurred in nine of Spurs’ last ten games in February.

And with Son now banned from the game in Zagreb and Steven Bergwijn currently being overlooked, this could represent an opportunity for the Englishman, who is 34 £ 2m valued.

Alli has started each of Tottenham’s last three Europa League games and Windass believes he has a real chance at making a real impression on who n Son is out.

He told Football FanCast: “It’s a good opportunity for Dele Alli. We don’t know how Dele Alli reacts every day in training, Jose sees him every day in training. You won’t be a bad player overnight.

“He’s back in the squad, then he has the chance to come. I thought he did really well when he came on [against Arsenal]. If he is now the next game starts, he has to say: “Yes, I’m a good player, I have a future in this football club.”
