To the delight of music lovers, the program was unveiled this Friday, May 7. “We wanted to want: it was unthinkable to do two white editions in a row. Spring will be different but it will be Spring. The artists have all agreed to play with gauges at 65% and, according to the elements in place, we must be able to make ends meet, ”said festival director Boris Vedel in an interview with AFP.

While it attracted 200,000 festival-goers during its last edition in 2019, this musical event should only welcome 10,000 people this year, in order to respect the health protocol.

The rooms will be in a seated and distanced configuration. The festival has made a cross on its largest enclosure, the W (10,000 seats). The largest of the rooms will be the Palais d’Auron, which will only accommodate 1,000 people. Wearing a mask will be compulsory on the entire festival site, indoors and outdoors. The curfew will be at this period fixed at 11 p.m.

More than 70 artists will perform, between emerging figures – since Spring is also a breeding ground for talents – and confirmed values ​​such as Gaël Faye, Jean-Louis Aubert, Pomme, Suzane, Philippe Katerine, Sébastien Tellier and Georgio.

The next generation, like the rising generation of rap, embodied by Lala &ce, or the young shoots put forward at the last Victoires de la Musique – Yseult, Hervé or Noé Preszow – are also in the game. Not to mention creations, such as a tribute to Prince (who died five years ago) by Jeanne Added.
