The accession to the second round of the presidential election of Eric Zemmour would lead to the victory of Emmanuel Macron, ruled Sunday the deputy LR Eric Ciotti, candidate for the nomination of the Republicans.

“If by hypothesis there was this duel (Macron-Zemmour, editor’s note) – but I do not believe it – it is Emmanuel Macron who would win it”, he continued. “There would be a mobilization” against Eric Zemmour.

Eric Ciotti had declared on September 5 that he would vote for the far-right polemicist in the event of a duel between him and the outgoing president in the second round of the presidential claim he did not repeat Sunday.

Eric Zemmour, who continues to maintain the vagueness of a presidential candidacy, was attacked earlier Sunday against the Republicans (LR), “a party of notable centrists” that ‘he accuses of having “betrayed the Gaullist right” which he claims to be.
