Tottenham has announced that former players and club academy coach Ryan Mason will take over the first team training session on Monday.

London: Jose Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham on Monday, just six days before they play Manchester City in the League Cup final, when the Portuguese boss paid the price for a tumultuous campaign.
Mourinho, 58, was after sacked only 17 months, although he could have led the club to its first cutlery since 2008.
Tottenham struggled to qualify for the Champions League with a top 4 result in the Premier League.

Tottenham’s academy coach Ryan Mason, a former player for the club, will do first-team training this week and will select the team for Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Southampton and the League Cup final at Wembley.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said: “Jose and his coaching staff have had some of our toughest times as a club with us.
” Personally, I have enjoyed working with him and I regret things did not work out as we both had imagined.
“He will always be welcome here and we would like to thank him and his coaches for their contribution.”
Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann is the bookmaker’s favorite , who is replacing Mourinho, and Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is also a competitor.
Nagelsmann has also been linked with Bayern Munich, which boss Hansi Flick will lose Tottenham could have been persuaded to respond to Mourinho now instead of waiting for the end of the season.
Mourinho’s sudden exit marks the latest setback in a once glittering managerial career that is now in decline.
The former Heads of Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United were appointed by Tottenham in November 2019, less than 12 hours after Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking.
