The PlayStation Showcase on September 9 allowed Sony to confirm the two projects currently in development on the side of Insomniac Games, the recent acquisition of the Japanese. The first is a game centered around Wolverine, which had been kept secret until then, the second is the more anticipated sequel to the adventures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

It will be a PlayStation 5 solo exclusive, with no PS4 equivalent, which will be released in 2023 and will therefore involve the two Spideys that we have been given to play so far. No gameplay yet, just a pre-calculated trailer, and some info.

Insomniac has thus specified that the creative director and the game director of the first part, Bryan Intihar and Ryan Smith, will resume service for this sequel. And of course, we learned that Venom will be one of the various antagonists who will oppose the Spider-Men in this new installment.

The studio, through the voice of ryan Schneider, its boss of Franchising Strategy and Relations, has also reiterated that the connection with Marvel is not about to end.

If her Twitter account looks like a dictionary of flowery words, it’s probably because you stumbled upon a game night. A freelance player in both football and video games, this unbearable normie who worships Hideo Kojima and Alexandre Astier with the candor of an altar server has finally chosen to put his bags on Gamekult. Our projects: to pass him all the AAAs for the taste of a fleet that Puyo will no longer be able to test now that he is the boss, and to correct this obsession with clothing for pocket polo shirts. At one point, certain things come under civic duty.

The trailer seems to suggest a genuinely scary Venom, which will be nice after the latest Sony movies. Curious to see how the alternation between Spidey and Morales will be handled, the game could almost suggest a cooperative mode but it is nevertheless presented as an experience solo. Hurry anyway! It’s missing more than Daredevil in the works and Insomniac will have adapted all my favorite Marvel licenses. x)

It would be nice Daredevil, but hey he is not well known enough. If he was a guest in a possible Spiderman 3 (Catwoman way in Batman Arkham City) it would be crazy already.
