The Philippine women’s soccer team stormed into the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup after a brilliant 2-1 win over Hong Kong at JAR Stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Friday September 24th.

Chandler McDaniel and Tahnai Annis both found the end of the net when they swept Group F of the qualifying round, finished with 6 points and rose to the four-year meeting for the second year in a row September scored a decisive goal and mastered the situation again after giving the Filipino shoemakers a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute.

The Philippines have qualified for the Asian Women’s Cup and are among the twelve teams competing for five places allotted to the continent at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
