The up-and-coming Melbourne Renegades won three straight WBBL games on Saturday at Lilac Hill, Perth, beating the breaking Sydney Sixers by 12 runs.

Renegades achieved their highest score of the season at 7-142, with Jess Duffin scored a personal season best of 41 without 32 balls and Indian star Harmanpreet Kaur 43 out of 32.

The Sixers, who have lost three in a row, injured themselves with four run-outs and some poor shot selections, with Ellyse Perry (28 of 28) was the only top row to get started.

Maitlan Brown (31 of 20) and Shafali Verma (20 of 15) bet 50 for the sixth wicket, but the Renegades regained control after Ellie Falconer (2-28) dismissed her within three balls in the 16th round.
