PARIS 2024 (4/14) – On August 8, during the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics, Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, will officially receive the Olympic flag. The start of a crazy adventure that will lead in 2024 to the Olympic Games (July 26-August 11) and Paralympics (August 28-September 8).

Games full of eyes. Like the Winter Olympics (slopestyle, Big Airâ ?? ¦), the Summer Games welcome new fashions. In 2024, the 28 Olympic sports making up the program, the organizers will welcome four sports supposed to bring a new look, a new echo to the Olympics.

As additional sports (with the constraint of remaining within the overall quota of 10,500 athletes invited to land on the start line), Paris 2024 has chosen surfing, climbing, skateboarding and breaking (the top three settling for the first time in Tokyo this summer).

Spectacular sports geared towards young people who take advantage of the Olympic Games effect (the French Breaking Federation is structured with a France pole). “Sports that are shared on social networks, which are both a means of expression and a lifestyle, and are practiced everywhere on a daily basis, in town and in nature”, displays Paris 2024.

These four sports are a real novelty compared to the overall program of the 28 Olympic sports. These are spectacular and creative sports, which arouse a strong commitment from young people.
