Cebu City Councilor David Tumulak, who conducted an inspection of the area on Sunday evening, said 31 patients were waiting outside for their turn at around 10:30 p.m. and some of them could have persistent coughs and breathing difficulties not yet confirm whether the patients are positive for Covid-19 as they have yet to be wiped off. He said there had been at least two vehicles with a patient outside the hospital since Friday, July 30, with oxygen on Sunday afternoon. Tumulak said the street in front of the hospital has been closed to restrict the area to rescue workers and ensure that no one else will pass through the area, stressing that nurses and doctors were outside looking after the patients. “Kay ilang pag-atiman aning mga pasyente apil naman gawas, so kinahanglan mapangitaan natu’g paagi,” said Tumulak was able to care for patients.
