Ombudsman Samuel Martires has issued a memorandum expanding the Ombudsman’s investigation to include allegations of overpricing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Martires said Thursday during the budget deliberations of the House Budgets Committee .
Martires said he has issued a memorandum “expanding the investigation team’s investigation to include allegations of overpricing of PPE and other Covid-related consumables and equipment”.
As part of the In memorandum, the investigation was also broadened to include “allegations of non-use of some medical supplies and devices” and “allegations … of drugs that have expired.”
