Beninese athlete Odile Ahouanwanou started the heptathlon races on Wednesday 04 August. She started out in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing 6th in her heat with a time of 13 ″ 31. This allows him to grab 1078 points. American Williams Kendell finished first in the series ahead of Burkinabe Marthe Koala. Williams clocked 12 ”97 for a total of 1129 points.
In the high jump Ahouanwanou finished 10 th in her series with a jump of 1.74m. She collected 903 points for this performance.
