ISLAMABAD: Pakistan reported 1,490 new COVID-19 cases and 27 more deaths on Sunday, the National Command and Operation Center said on Monday.
The NCOC said the total number of confirmed cases stood at 1,251 .348 increased, including 1,177,249 who have recovered.
The number of active cases has fallen to 46,206 in treatment across the country, while 3,407 are in critical condition.
According to the NCOC, the pandemic killed 27 people on Sunday, bringing the death toll to 27,893. Sindh is the hardest-hit province in the country with 460,111 infections, followed by Punjab, which has reported 433,286 infections.
