Tonight the Lakers, Hawks, Nets and Mavs can all lead 3-1, but the Suns, Knicks, Celtics and Clippers don’t have to agree.

Second marathon of the weekend tonight, with four more matches on the program starting at 7 p.m. Four games, four Game 4s, and each time a team looking for a near-definitive advantage, and one that wants to keep believing in it.

7pm: Hawks – Knicks: the “ugly” Trae Young against the team that “everyone” would like to see win, but for now it is Trae Young and the Hawks who have raised their level of play to dominate this first part of the series. On the Atlanta side, we will try to keep this defensive hardness from which everything starts so quickly, while for the Knicks we are clearly awaiting a revival of the presumed offensive leaders, Julius Randle and R.J. Barrett not to name them. Another game that promises to be tense, ideal for attacking the evening.

9:30 p.m .: Lakers – Suns: A streak that got off to a flying start, then… Chris Paul crashed his shoulder, then… the Lakers started defending. Result of the races? The angelino steamroller is once again very scary and it is now difficult to imagine these brave Suns going for the champion. Tonight’s game is a turning point as it can almost end the streak if LeBron and his army win, while a victory for Phoenix would add an estimated 1,000,000 to the hype level as a result of the events. One word, however, to all of our Suns fan friends, whatever happens tonight…: Courage.

1h: Celtics – Nets: big attacking shock between Boston and Brooklyn, again a Game 4, and an obvious focus on the restless of the bocal like Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, James Harden, Kemba Walker or Kyrie Irving. Among these five men hid a myopic leader and four superstars, and this Game 4 will logically be the opportunity to enjoy a new masterclass from one or more of these seriously ill. Overall? The advantage remains with the Nets of course, but the previous game proved that a sparkling, well-supported Tatum could be a game-changer. Enough to tie it 2-2 and make Brooklyn doubtful? We wouldn’t put our ELP there, but why not?

3:30 am: Mavericks – Clippers: here it is our delicious dessert of the night. Dallas took the first two sets thanks to a fabulous Luka Doncic, the Clippers took the third despite a… fabulous Luka Doncic, and we expect a Game 4 once again ultra-offensive with Clippers in the obligation to win so as not to end up with your back to the wall too early in these Playoffs. Luka, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George… the first at 45 won. Note that Luka Doncic is announced questionable tonight after a pain felt in Game 3, but we prefer to tell you that we do not believe for a single second in his absence.

So we’ll know a little – a lot – more about this first round after the ninth day of the Playoffs. Some people need a big bang but in front of you we didn’t come there to string pearls, so all on the sofa at 7 pm, lotus position, and we get well for… eleven hours in a row!
