The big summer maneuvers begin in Boston. As ESPN reports, Boston sends Kemba Walker, the 16th pick in the 2021 Draft and a 2025 second round to Oklahoma City. Al Horford, Moses Brown and a second round in the 2023 Draft go the other way and land in the hands of the C’s. 31-year-old Kemba Walker joined Boston in 2019 from Charlotte. He wrapped up last season, his second at TD Garden, averaging 19.3 points, 4 rebounds and 4.9 assists, but was only able to play 43 games due to various physical glitches. Boston’s 2020-21 fiscal year was also rotten by injuries (36v-36d in regular season). Al Horford, 35, turned 14.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists with the Thunder in 2020-21. He has already defended the colors of the Celtics, between 2016 and 2019.
