Shortly before 2 p.m., the firefighters intervened on rue Colette Magny for a fire started in the underground car park of their building, this Monday, May 24, 2021.
It was barely 2 p.m., Monday May 24, 2021, when the firefighters were called to rue Colette Magny, in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique). In question, a fire started in the underground parking lot of a building.
At the start of the fire, a vehicle. The latter caught fire in the underground car park of a two-story building with 39 apartments. The fire was brought under control with a water hose. About thirty firefighters were mobilized.
The parking lot and the common traffic areas, completely smoky, required long-term operational ventilation.
Under the effect of heat and flames, the sewage, drinking water and storm water pipes, all located in the parking lot, gave way, rendering the building uninhabitable. Technicians from Nantes Métropole came to the site to assess the damage.
