Earlier this week, it emerged that Nacho had sustained muscle overload in the Levante tie last weekend.
And that resulted in the defender missing training sessions earlier this week, even though it was hoped he was in Would return later this week.
However, this has not been the case so far, as Nacho was out the entire week.
However, in order to return to training by today (Friday), it is very unlikely that Carlo Ancelotti Nacho would be ahead this weekend’s clash against Real Betis on Saturday evening.
Instead, Ancelotti must either use youngster Jesus Vallejo or move David Alaba to the center-back and introduce Marcelo as left-back.
Marcelo is back after an injury, but may be absent fitness to play for him, as he stood on the sidelines for several weeks.
