Nabilla Benattia was invited on the set of Quotidien this Thursday, November 25. During the interview, the young woman was questioned about the reasons for her exile in Dubai in 2019. And the question of taxes did not fail to be mentioned.
The year 2019 was a real turning point in the life of Nabilla Benattia and Thomas Vergara. The couple got married in May in London before welcoming their first child, a baby boy named Milann, on October 11. And a few weeks after giving birth, the two lovers decided to leave London to settle in Dubai. In the columns of Paris Match, Nabilla and Thomas had explained the reasons for their exile. “There, the schools are excellent. Drugs, alcohol … it does not exist. We have already spotted a house with a piece of beach to us. And lots of rooms”, justified the influencer.
And for two years, the little family has been living happy days in the land of influencers, and do not hesitate to regularly share photos of their daily life on social networks. A new life that the young woman wanted to discover in the documentary series Nabilla: without filter, available since Friday, November 26 on Prime Video. On the occasion of this outing, Nabilla toured the media to promote it.
She was for example invited this Thursday, November 25 in Daily. Faced with Yann Barthès who started by asking her questions about her life as an influencer, Nabilla confided that she very rarely disconnects, and only turns off her phone on Sundays. An ultra presence on the networks which can be exhausting, but which also allows him to earn a very comfortable living. “I can ask you if you are very rich? If this profession brings in a lot of money?” Asked Yann Barthès. “The profession of influence? Yes, a lot, a lot”, replied Nabilla.
Obviously, the presenter wanted to know if she and her family saw each other in Dubai “in 10 years”. “Maybe not,” said the 29-year-old woman who said she “migrated to Dubai for the heat, the safety, the beach”. “And taxes,” added Yann Barthès. “Not necessarily,” replied Nabilla, while showing a little slack in spite. “After yes, it is something which is not negligible but it was not the first goal. I wanted a place not too far from France (…) and especially safety”, insisted the influencer, who also said she has companies in Dubai, but also kept some in London.
Of course we believe, it’s not to earn more or not to pay taxes, no! , it’s just for the heat, the safety, the beach ….
