The total death toll stands at 14,827 since the first death recorded on March 10, it is stated. The case fatality rate is 1.6%.

The Ministry also reported 208 new remissions recorded in 24 hours. The total number of people declared cured now stands at 937,578 with a remission rate of 98.1%.

Likewise, the number of active cases stands at 3,182, of which 105 are admitted to intensive care and intensive care units, including 22 new 24-hour cases.
